Three Williamsburg Hornets youth football teams will go for the glory during Saturday’s Peninsula Youth Football and Cheerleading Organization Super Bowl held at Bailey Field in York County.

Held annually, the PYFCO Super Bowl matches up the top two teams from each age division to determine the champions.

The Williamsburg Hornets Green Midgets, who have gone 9-1 this season, will play in the PYFCO Super Bowl against the undefeated Grafton-Tabb Tigers at 2 p.m.

Earlier this season, the Grafton-Tabb Tigers narrowly defeated the Williamsburg Hornets Green Midgets 20-13 for their only loss of the season.

Also taking place on Saturday will be the first matchup between two Williamsburg Hornets teams in the PYFCO Super Bowl in the Mites division. The Williamsburg Hornets Green Mites (8-2) will square off against the Williamsburg Hornets Gold Mites (10-0) at 9 a.m.

Attendance for the PYFCO Super Bowl is $3 per person.

Before the games get underway Saturday, a pep rally will be held for the Williamsburg Hornets teams from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday on turf fields two and three at the Warhill Sports Complex prior to the Lafayette High School playoff football game against Heritage.
