Williamsburg Christian Academy’s girls basketball team opened its season with a 58-41 road win against Virginia Episcopal School on Friday.
Led by Kaylee Boger’s game-high 19 points, which included five 3-pointers, the Eagles cruised to a decisive season-opening victory.
Charnissa Chillers added 15 points for WCA, while Patricia Davie logged a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
WCA (1-0) will host Norfolk Christian at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
