Grafton, Lafayette Cheerleaders Earn All-State Honors

Four Historic Triangle cheerleaders were named to the Group 4A All-State first-team Monday, while another two were named second-team selections.

Grafton, which finished third in the Group 4A competition, had three cheerleaders make the Group 4A first team. The three Clippers to receive the honors were Haley Joyce, Abby Dixon and Maddie Reese.

Lafayette, which finished fourth in the Group 4A East competition, had one cheerleader – Tiana Lyttle – earn first-team honors.

The Clippers added Joy Santiago on the All-State second-team, while the Rams had Blayne Jones receive second-team recognition.
