Boys Soccer: Walsingham Routs Peninsula Catholic

Walsingham Academy had no trouble cruising past Peninsula Catholic 6-0 on the road Monday afternoon.

Landon Gero and Kelau Smith found the back of the net in the first half to put Walsingham on top 2-0 at the break.

Both Gero and Smith finished the game with a goal and assist apiece.

In the second half, Walsingham turned up the pressure on offense and blew the game wide open.

Goal from Ryan Dorsett, Konstantin Ries and Connor Norris, as well as an own goal by Peninsula Catholic, put the game well in hand for the Trojans.

Walsingham (8-7-1) will finish its regular season with a home game against Hampton Roads Academy on Thursday.
