
Leah Tyson recorded a hat trick to help lead Tabb to a comfortable 3-0 win against York at home Monday.
Tyson got Tabb (7-2) on the board quickly, scoring less than eight minutes into the first half off a Natalie Stratton assist. Almost six minutes later, Tyson found the back of the net again, this time off a Madalynn Grounds assist.
With the Tigers holding a 2-0 halftime advantage, Tyson scored her final goal in the second half thanks to a pass from Haley Thompson.
York (5-3-3) goalkeeper Trinity Choice was kept busy, turning away 20 shots during the contest.
Tabb will look to continue its six-game win streak as the Tigers host Nansemond River at 7 p.m. Thursday. York will continue its season at home Friday against Colonial Heights.

Morgan Connell scored a pair of goals to go with an assist that helped lead Jamestown (5-3-3) to a 4-0 win at home against New Kent on Monday.
Maddie Clevinger and Anya Keurajian each chipped in goals for the Eagles in the win.
Jamestown goalkeeper Juliette Sim recorded two saves during the shutout victory.
The Eagles will continue their season when they travel to take on Warhill at 5:30 p.m. Friday.
