Three different players found the back of the net as Grafton’s boys defeated Warhill 3-1 at home for its first Bay Rivers District victory of the season Friday.
The match was tied 1-1 at the half before Grafton tacked on two scores during the final 40 minutes to pull away.
Dylan Lorio-McNamara, Aaron Kaye and Nick Dey scored the goals for the Clippers, who improved to 3-2-1 overall and 1-1-1 in district play with the win.

Tabb Boys Shut Out Bruton 5-0
Theo Grothey scored two goals while Andrew Nicely finished with one goal and two assists to lead Tabb’s boys past Bruton 5-0 on the road Friday.

Tabb Trounces Bruton 10-0
Erin Fenton recorded her first hat trick of the season, while Leah Tyson and Lakiah Robinson each netted two goals in Tabb’s dominate 10-0 win over Bruton on Friday.
Fenton was also one of five Tigers’ players to finish with an assist in the win.

HRA Jumps on Peninsula Catholic Early
Hampton Roads Academy’s girls jumped out to a 6-2 lead at the half and cruised to a 9-3 Tidewater Conference win over Peninsula Catholic on Friday.
Catie Slater scored three goals and Courtney Montgomery found the back of the net twice to lead the Navigators, who moved to a an overall record of 3-6 (3-5 TCIS) on the season with the victory.
