Emery Trott scored two goals and Calvin Mitchell provided two assists as Lafayette improved to 3-0 on the season after shutting out Gloucester Tuesday. David Lees scored the Rams’ first goal on a beautiful header setup by Kamran Rahman.

Walsingham Academy 2 Steward School 1
Reilly Pieri scored two goals in the first half and Walsingham’s girls held on for a 2-1 victory over Steward School Tuesday. The Trojans improved to 1-0-1 on the season with the win and will host rival HRA on Thursday.

HRA’s boys lacrosse team began its defense of a VISAA state championship by defeating Bishop Sullivan 13-7 in the Navigators season opener Tuesday.
