WILLIAMSBURG — Historic Area Religions Together recently received a donation of $1,300 from the Three Jolly Coachmen’s Coffee House concert series.
HART is a local organization that invites representatives of all religious backgrounds in the Historic Area to foster understanding and partnership among all religions.
The gift was the result of a sellout performance featuring the Bagels & Fraylox Klezmer Band at its most recent concert March 8.
The TJC Coffee House concert series donates a portion of each concert’s ticket sales, as well as 100% of additional donations for drinks to the charity it partners with at each concert. The bi-monthly series features the Three Jolly Coachmen, a Kingston Trio tribute group, for three of the six concerts in a season, and three other concerts spotlight local talent.
The next Three Jolly Coachmen’s Coffee House concert will be Friday, May 9, when the Three Jolly Coachmen return for another set of Kingston Trio tunes.
