WILLIAMSBURG — The community is invited to a pancake breakfast at the Williamsburg-Jamestown Airport, located at 100 Marclay Dr., on Saturday, April 9.
The pancake breakfast, which is held rain-or-shine on the second Saturday of each month, will take place from 8 to 10:30 a.m. at the airport under the Big Tent beside the terminal building.
The breakfast is $7 per person, with proceeds benefitting the Williamsburg Aviation Scholarship Program students.
The scholarship program is designed for rising local high school students who want to pursue a career in aviation. The program provides them with funding towards training.
There are currently nine high school students enrolled in the scholarship program to achieve their Private Pilots License.
On the menu is pancakes, eggs, sausage, coffee and juice.
