WILLIAMSBURG — Busch Gardens Williamsburg (BGW) is celebrating Mardi Gras NOLA-style with a month of festivities.
Busch Gardens Mardi Gras will run Fridays through Sundays from Jan. 28 – Feb. 27, including President’s Day.
BGW announced that the celebration will include “Carnaval Imaginique,” an all-new show at the Globe Theatre.
The event will be filled with colorful entertainment throughout the park, along with a Mardi Gras-inspired menu, including Crawfish Boil, Jambalaya, King Cake cinnamon roll and beignets, and handcrafted cocktails such as Hurricanes, Fat Tuesday Rum Runners and King’s Cup Daiquiris.
Guests can choose among 30 specialty menu items with a Mardi Gras Sampler Lanyard.
According to BGW, Mardi Gras locations include Grogan’s Grill, Grogan’s Pub, Cafe Lulu, Trapper’s Show Grill, Das Edeilweiss, Bayou Bar and Das Festhaus Foyer Bar.
The event will take place Fridays from 3-8 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays and President’s Day from noon to 6 p.m.
