Nathan Alan Frazier, 37, of York County

Nathan Alan Frazier (Whiting’s Funeral Home)

Nathan Alan Frazier, a beloved son, brother, cousin, and friend to many, was born on August 5, 1989, to Antonio and Vanessa (Jimmison) Frazier. He was the grandson of the late Willie and Isabella Frazier, and John Henry and Julia Jimmison. Nathan was welcomed home by his Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 17, 2026.

Nathan was educated in the York County Public School system. During his high school years, he shared his talents as a trombone player in the school band. Music was a true passion throughout his life; Nathan could often be found listening to and singing all day long, holding an especially profound love for the musical “The Phantom of the Opera.”

An avid traveler, Nathan loved the freedom of the open road. He could frequently be spotted driving down Interstate 64, heading one way toward the Richmond area or cruising in the opposite direction toward Virginia Beach, with the windows down and his favorite music playing; he rode without a care in the world.

Above all, Nathan cherished the time he spent with his family and friends. He possessed a vibrant spirit, keeping everyone on their toes with his quick wit and a brilliant smile that could light up any room. Even during his final days, his humor and infectious smile remained a source of joy for those around him.

Nathan also held a deep passion for culinary arts and cooking. He loved experimenting with new recipes, unique seasonings, and exploring diverse cuisines from different cultures. True to his love for food and family gatherings, one of his final requests was for his sister to prepare a turducken for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.

His legacy of love and laughter will be forever cherished and remembered by his devoted parents, Antonio and Vanessa Frazier; his sisters, Nadia Frazier and Nadine Frazier; his brother, Adrian Frazier; his uncles, Timothy Jimmison, Willie Frazier Jr. (Mary), Lawrence Frazier (Chiquita), Paul Frazier, Richard Frazier, Phillip Frazier, and Michael Frazier (Elenor); his aunts, Jacqueline Buck (Harry), Angela Wilson (Carl), and Wanda Frazier; his great-uncles, Allen Prince (Marie); his great-aunts, Bernadetta Caldwell (Ulycee) and Marionette Fowler, with whom he loved to spend special time; alongside a host of loving cousins, extended relatives, and dear friends.
