David Lee Deskins, 57, of New Kent County VA, passed away June 19, 2026 surrounded by his family.
David attended and graduated from Honaker High School VA, where he played football. He was an avid fisherman and NASCAR fan. David loved to play poker, enjoyed going to car shows, and visiting with family and friends at Donnie and Susie’s Paradise Cabin in Honaker VA.
He began his working career at Sheldon Lumber Company. He later went on to work for Custom Builders as a sales representative for 35 years and finished his career at Fary Brothers.
David was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Lee Deskins; and his niece, Teagan Alexa Deskins.
David is survived by two sons, Evan and Austin Deskins of Lanexa VA; his mother, Barbara Jean Deskins; two brothers, Greg Deskins (Kate) and Mathew Deskins (Stephanie); two sisters, Patricia Costa and Lisa Otto (Earl); his long-time companion, Debbie Conway; family friend, Kelly; two nieces, Nikki and Lilly; two nephews Cowles and Levi; a great niece, Aubrie; a great nephew, Blake; and host of other relatives and friends.
