Richard “Rick” Tholl, 74, of Poquoson, VA, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026.
Rick was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Wilma “Vonnie” Tholl. He is survived by his son, Joseph “Joey” Tholl, along with many friends and loved ones who will remember him fondly.
Rick retired from Hampton Roads Testing in Hampton after more than 20 years of dedicated service. Outside of work, he had a deep love for music and especially enjoyed playing the drums. In his younger years, he proudly played in a band and carried that passion for music throughout his life. Rick was also an avid NASCAR fan who enjoyed following the sport and cheering on his favorite drivers.
Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Rick’s life from 1:00–2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at Weymouth Funeral Home.
Rick will be remembered for his love of music, his loyal spirit, and the memories he shared with those who knew and loved him.
