Henry Clyde Pace, Jr., 84, of King and Queen Court House, VA passed away on March 31, 2026 at his home.

Henry Clyde was a graduate of New Kent High School. After high school Henry Clyde went to work at The Chesapeake Corporation in West Point, VA. He spent 36 years there before he retired.

During retirement he did lots of traveling visiting family and friends around the United States and clearing his bucket list. He was an avid hunter and houndsmen who also enjoyed poker, watching the Yankees, Commanders and Virginia Tech play ball.

He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia McGowan Pace; his parents, Henry Clyde Pace, Sr. and Grace G. Pace; and his daughter, Cindy Pace Waddell.

Henry Clyde is survived by his son David Bruce Pace, Sr. (Amy). He is also survived by many grandchildren that he adored; Tiffany Pace Greene, (James), Hayley Pace (Albert), Mikayla Pace (Austin) David Bruce Pace, Jr. (Cassidy), Jeremy Waddell (Sydney); along with great-grandchildren, Bayley, James River, Kayla, Calvin, Ember and Rustyn.
