On the morning of Tuesday, December 9, 2025 Janice Robinson Colbert, 91, of Yorktown, Virginia, closed her eyes, peacefully, to this earthly world and opened them in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Jan is survived by her daughter, Deborah Louise Reynolds and husband, Todd Reynolds; her son, Eric Richard Colbert; three grandchildren, Eric Gregory, Evan, Jessica and families; one brother and one sister of the eight Robinson children, and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
She was a long-time member of Bethel Baptist Church. She retired from Fort Eustis as a Civil Servant and continued to work at Rite-Aid for 20+ years until her late 80’s. She was a Peninsula resident since 1944.
Jan will be greatly missed by many, family and friends alike.
Interment will be held at Peninsula Memorial Park at a later date.
