William G. Lancellotti Jr. passed away on October 13, 2025. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 22, 1931.
Bill was an alumnus of Brooklyn Prep High School, Columbia College and the Columbia School of Business. A lover of numbers, he was a CPA and enjoyed Sudoku as a challenge in his spare time. An avid fan of the Brooklyn Dodgers, he regretted their move to California.
His career saw him move from NYC to Louisville, KY and back to NY. Always a lover of the water, he and his family located to Skaneateles, NY where he established his private practice and pursued his interest in boating. Bill was a proud Rotarian who enjoyed his work with the Rotary youth exchange program. Bill was also an enthusiastic model railroader.
He is survived by his wife of 68+ years, Carmen del Pilar, his son Edward William and daughter Felicia Maddalon (Jeffrey), and grandsons, Jonathan and Nicholas. Bill was predeceased by his son Robert, his parents Laura and Dr. William G. Lancellotti and sister Virginia Wilmot (Clifford). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Bede Catholic Church or St. Jude.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Bede Catholic Church on Thursday October 23 at noon with a visitation an hour prior at 11 a.m. at the Commons of St. Bede. A reception is to follow the mass at the Commons of St. Bede.
