Today and every day we celebrate the life of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who passed away at the remarkable age of 95. Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, she lived a full life marked by love, laughter, and just the right amount of sass.
She had a passion for the simple joys of life—shopping and eating—though you’d never know it by looking at her. Always slim and stylish, she could outlast anyone on a day at the mall. Her sharp wit and quick remarks kept everyone on their toes, and her sense of humor was one of her greatest gifts to us.
To us kids, she was nothing short of a superstar. She delighted in giving us the little things our parents said “no” to—like letting us get our second earring holes—making her the ultimate co-conspirator in our growing-up years.
She leaves behind 3 daughters: Maureen (Cliff), Beverly, Peggy (Glenn); 7 grandchildren: Angel, Ronnie (Maryanne), Emily (Dominic), Jaime (Wayne), Lee, Ashleigh, Dustin; and 9 great-grandchildren: Camden, Zach, Isabelle, Lyric, Aspen, Knox, Brooklyn, Harbour, River; each of whom carries a piece of her spirit forward. Her love of family, her independence, and her unmistakable spark will never be forgotten.
Though she is gone, her sass, her laughter, and her love will echo through all of us. Rest peacefully, Grandma—you’ve more than earned it.
