Jeffrey B. Gregg, 57, of Newport News, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2025. Born in Richmond, Virginia, Jeff built a life centered around family, friendship, and laughter.
Jeff’s career as a real estate appraiser reflected his professionalism and dedication, but it was his warmth, humor, and ability to make anyone feel welcome that truly defined him. Known as the life of the party, he never met a stranger, greeted everyone with a smile, and left people better than he found them.
Jeff was preceded in death by William Dallas Creery III. He is survived by his devoted wife, Stacey Gregg; his children, Brandon (Katlyn), Tyler, and Carley; his beloved grandson, Baker; his parents, Phillip and Carolyn Gregg of Newport News; his half-siblings, Stephanie Sanchez (Angel), Heather Nixon (Joe), and William Dallas Creery IV, all of Florida, and his stepbrother, Keith Joseph.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at the Warwick Yacht and Country Club in Newport News, in a casual and lighthearted spirit—just the way Jeff would have wanted.
Jeff’s presence filled every room with joy, and his legacy will live on in the laughter, kindness, and love he shared with all who knew him.
