James Michael Willis, 68, of Saluda, VA passed away unexpectantly on Tuesday, July 22, 2025.
Mike was an avid hunter and a member of Briar Swamp Hunt Club. He enjoyed spending time hanging out with friends at Pointers in Glenns.
Mike was preceded in death by his father James Edward Willis. He is survived by his wife Sharon Willis; his mother Laura Mae Willis; two sons James “Cornbread” William Willis and Michael “Dougie” Douglas Willis; a stepdaughter Jennifer Jordan; two sisters Kathy Creech and Janet Melton (Gary); six grandchildren Alyssa, Caleb, Kenzie, Scott, Nikki and Audrey; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A celebration of life is planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
