Tom graduated from South Charleston High School with the class of 1966 and later attended West Virginia State College. A proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, Tom exemplified the values of duty, honor, and commitment throughout his life.
His professional journey was marked by more than 30 successful years as a real estate agent and broker, where his integrity and dedication left a lasting impact on colleagues and clients alike. His ability to fix just about anything also served his family, friends and clients well.
His favorite title was “Papa” and he cherished moments with his beloved grandchildren. Tom’s heart was full when surrounded by family. He was a devoted father and papa, always present to cheer his grandchildren on at their various musical and sporting events, never missing an opportunity to tell them a funny joke. His love for the beach was also well known, and he took every chance he got to visit the water, basking in the sun and fishing.
A man of faith, Tom was an active member of Menchville Baptist Church. Serving and being present in church filled his time and heart. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #368, where he extended his camaraderie and support to fellow veterans and community members.
