Christina R. Phillips, 81, of Williamsburg, was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and went to be with the Lord on June 9, 2025.
Born in Kentucky, she met and married her husband, Ardey W. Phillips, in Montana. As a proud Navy wife, she lived in many places around the world before the family eventually made their home in Virginia.
Christina worked as a medical records assistant and later as a retail sales clerk before retiring. She enjoyed reading her Bible, loving and caring for her cats, listening to music, attending church plays during the holidays with her best friend, and spending time with her family.
Christina’s love language was finding thoughtful gifts (especially at a discount) and giving them to those she loved. She was known for her appreciation of simple joys, like receiving beef sticks at Christmas or watching her youngest son set up the nativity in the yard.
She was a longtime member of King of Glory Lutheran Church and deeply valued meaningful conversations with everyone she met. She will be deeply missed and will remain in our hearts forever.
Christina was preceded in death by her beloved husband of many years, Ardey W. Phillips. She is survived by her two sons, Fred W. Phillips and his wife, Alison, and Daniel K. Phillips; as well as her two cherished grandsons, Luke and Cameron.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, outside at Cedar Grove Memorial Garden in Williamsburg, Virginia.
