C. Eileen Dickinson, age 81, of Norge, Virginia passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025. She was born November 1, 1943 in Newport News, Virginia.
A faithful Catholic, Eileen during the late 1970’s started her secretarial career as parish secretary for St. Bede Catholic Church in Williamsburg. After many years she then transferred on to St. Olaf Catholic Church in Norge, closer to home, until her retirement.
Eileen was an avid reader of books, comber of beaches, and RV traveler touring the US with her husband Tim. She also enjoyed feeding and watching birds while reading on her screen-in-back porch. One of her favorite places to visit was Topsail Island, North Carolina.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Timothy Lawler; daughters, Lisa C. Smith (husband Shawn Shalaski) and Deborah L. Smith; grandchildren, Matthew Owens, David Shalaski, and Adam Owens; five great-grandchildren with one more on the way; and her beloved cat, Sissy.
