Michele Dawn Hawkins was born in Fort Campbell Kentucky. Michele moved to Virginia with her family in 1970 after her father, Fred Dunford, was stationed at Fort Eustis.
Michele loved her family; she was a loving and caring mother. She began to home school her children in 2004. She loved her church and her community and worked with an outreach group, Cherished, in 2013 ministering to women. Michele enjoyed crafting and making things and her cooking was something that everyone loved. Michele could stand out in a crowd by her pink and sparkly attire. She also loved the beach!
Michele was preceded in death by her father, Fred Dunford who passed away in 2022. She is survived by her mother, Louise Dunford; her husband, Mark Hawkins; her children, Jordan, Olivia and Casey and 5 grandchildren, Liam, Laken, Prince, Coleson and Posey who were her whole life next to God.
Funeral Services were held at St. James Anglican Church at 11:00 a.m. in Gloucester, VA on Monday, January 13, 2025 by Rev. Kevin Fife.
