Marvin Elroy Croswell, Jr., 72, of West Point, Virginia, passed peacefully in his home surrounded by family on December 8.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend who never met a stranger. Early in his life he served his country in the Navy acquiring accolades from his superiors on many occasions. Marvin was also an avid sportsman who enjoyed fellowship with family and friends on the golf course.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Louise. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; his children, Matthew (Mindy), Amy (Robert) and Austin (Ashley); grandchildren, Drew (Laura), Ethan, Hayley (Jonathan), Matthew, Jr., Maddox, Nicholas and Peyton; a sister, Janet (Josh); as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and countless friends.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 12th
at Vincent’s Funeral Home, 417 11th Street, West Point followed by a celebration of life at 11 a.m. A reception to follow at Poroporone Baptist Church,

In lieu of flowers, Marvin wished for donations to be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
