Lawrence H. Anderson Jr. (Sonny), 88, of West Point, VA went to be with our lord on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, after a long and brave battle with Alzheimer’s.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 69 years, Peggy P. Anderson; a daughter, Michelle A. Hylton (Matthew) and was preceded in death by his son, Michael L. Anderson.
He is also survived by his six grandchildren Daniel Lawson, Matthew Lawson (Brittany), Michael Lawson (Chelsea), Kathryn Lawson, Grace Farmer (Travis) and Kendall Hylton. Along with eight great-grandchildren, William, Emmaline, Mason, Beau, Autumn, Harper, Carter and Wyatt.
A graveside service will be held at Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Dr, Sandston, VA 23150, on Monday, August 26, 2024, at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
