Josephine Murdza (nee Adamczyk), 70, was born in Poland. She was a resident of Newport News for 16 years and formerly of Schaumburg. She passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully, on July 8, 2024 in Virginia.
She enjoyed spiritual conversations, cooking (pickle soup) and baking (kolaczkis) for family and was a therapist to many. She was extraordinarily positive in spirit throughout everything in life and kept prayer a priority through it all.
Josephine (Nana) was the loving wife of 50 years to Jesse Murdza; devoted mother of Mike and Renee; adoring grandmother of Lucas, Lilly, and Miles; beloved sister of Marion; dear aunt and friend to many. She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched. There will be no formal ceremony at this time.
There are cardinals, unicorns and rainbows for divine guidance but we know for sure that Nana will always flutter by, with the butterflies.
You can only have one mother
Patient kind and true;
No other friend in all the world,
