Carolyn Jean Wiebers, fondly known as Kat, of Fresno, California, passed away on April 16, 2024, in Suffolk, Virginia. She was born on May 10, 1947. After gracing this world for 76 wonderful years, Kat has bid adieu with a heart full of LOVE and memories.
Kat led a colorful life and was always the ray of sunshine in any room. As a personal caregiver, she touched the lives of many with her positivity and happy spirit. Her presence brought light into the lives of those around her.
She is preceded in death by her father, Leonard “Bud” Jorgenson; mother and stepfather, Frieda Schmidt Mitchell and Robert Mitchell; and infant son, Anthony Christian Wiebers. Kat leaves behind her loving husband, Paul Wiebers, and her cherished children, Lonnie Salyer, Linda Gardner, James David Woodall, all of Crescent City, CA, and Kelly Harrington of Medford, OR and her 38 grandchildren and great-grandchildren living mostly in northern California and Oregon.
A celebration of Kat’s life will be held at a later date to honor the joy and love she brought to all who knew her. In her passing, Kat will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have her in their lives.
Rest in peace, dear Kat. Your light will continue to shine bright in our memories.
