Joseph Henry Ripchick, 88, of West Point, VA passed away April 22, 2024.
Joe was an avid golfer and hunter, who also loved fishing and being on the water whenever possible. He was a US Navy Veteran and a member of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Joe will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Joe was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Lawson Ripchick; and a son, Terry Ripchick. He is survived by his wife, Carla Sturtz Ripchick; five children, Joseph Kendell Ripchick (Lisa), Michael Ripchick (Stephanie), Lynn Sturtz Haurand (Ed), Paula Sturtz Wilson (Robert) and Stephen Sturtz (Leslie-Ann); grandchildren, Alisa, Sophie, Hannah, Sylvia, Casey, Audrey, Carlie, Celeste, Gabi, Joey Jr., Noah, Robbie, Jamie, Jackson, Levi and Ryan; and ten great-grandchildren; his sister, Viola Ripchick Bates; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
