Frank Anthony Pecci, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on January 22, 2024, at the age of 73. Born on June 4, 1950, in Revere, MA, Frank lived a life filled with adventure, dedication, and unwavering commitment to his loved ones.

Frank’s journey began in Revere and was raised in Brighton by his loving parents, Anna Pecci and the late Frank R. Pecci. From an early age, he demonstrated remarkable resilience and courage, traits that would serve him well in the years to come.

After completing his education, Frank answered the call of duty as a proud member of the U.S. Army, serving in the Vietnam War. His selflessness and bravery during his time in the military earned him various accolades, including the Purple Heart, Bronze star, Soldier Medal, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and Vietnam Cross of Gallantry. Frank’s unwavering commitment to his country exemplified his unwavering dedication to protecting those he cared for.

Upon returning from Vietnam, and retiring from the Army in December 1995, Frank continued to serve his community as a MBTA Driver, providing safe transportation to countless individuals. As a Vietnam Veteran, he not only embodied the spirit of service but also inspired others with his resilience and perseverance.

Outside of work, Frank pursued his passions and hobbies with great enthusiasm. He found solace in the great outdoors, relishing moments spent fishing, hunting, and engaging in archery. Frank had a keen interest in model ship building and was known for his meticulous attention to detail. Firearms held a special place in his heart, and he could talk about them for hours on end.

Throughout his life, Frank cultivated meaningful connections and sought camaraderie in various organizations. He was a valued member of the VFW, DAV, Masons, Scottish Rites, Wounded Warriors, NRA, and OES. These affiliations offered Frank not only a sense of belonging but also opportunities to give back and support others.

Frank’s memory will forever be cherished by his devoted wife, Arline, who stood by his side through thick and thin. He also leaves behind his mother, Anna Pecci; brother, Paul Pecci; sister, Anne Caldera; brothers, Stephen Pecci and Joseph Pecci; daughters, Christine Howard and husband Edward, Teresa Amaral and husband Jonathan Sr, Kimberly Pecci and fiancé Joshua. Frank’s legacy extends to his eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, who will always remember him as a loving and guiding presence in their lives.

Frank’s thirst for knowledge led him on a journey of personal growth and development, as he studied at North Bennett St Trade School, Universal Heavy Construction School, The 567th Transportation Co. Leadership School, NCO Leadership School, Operation &, Maintenance Training Course, and New England Tractor Trailer Training School. He continually sought to expand his horizons and acquire new skills, embodying the spirit of lifelong learning.

As we bid farewell to Frank Anthony Pecci, let us remember him as an inspiration to us all. His bravery, resilience, and unwavering commitment to family and country will forever guide us. Though he may have departed from this world, his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he loved and touched.

Let us cherish the memories we shared with Frank, celebrating a life well-lived and honoring his indomitable spirit.
