Eleanor ‘Louise’ Calogrides (79) departed peacefully on October 24, 2023 in Virginia Beach, VA.
Louise was born on January 9, 1944 to Paul and Mary Lustig in Norfolk, VA. After graduating from Nursing School at The King’s Daughter in the early 60’s, she went on to practice a fulfilling and rewarding career, contributing 30+ years within the healthcare sector.
Louise is survived by her sons John Calogrides and Christopher Calogrides, grandchildren and also her sister Beverly Thomas.
Louise is preceded in death by her parents Paul and Mary Lustig and sister Janice Jones.
Remembering Mom’s virtuous ingrained family standards with a simplistic wholesome outlook on life, her keen minds dedication for the well-being of others, her strive to always do what’s right unconditionally for stronger family ties, her incredible cooking and shared family recipes, and last but not least, her heydays when driving around in that 64 ½ Red Mustang. These remembrances will undoubtedly cast lasting celebrations.
Mom, know that you will be truly missed with each and every passing day. Know that you did an admiral job with the upbringing of your children and that you did your very best amidst the struggles. The time has come for the Almighty to deliver you to a better place in which pain and suffering are of the past and we are so deeply blessed in knowing that your guiding light shines brightly through the heavens.
