Stephen Michael Clingan, 40 of Clarksburg, MD and Providence Forge, VA went to be with our Heavenly Father early Monday morning, September 4, 2023.
Stephen was born at home on September 28 ,1982 in VA Beach, VA to his late mother Jackie and his father Dane. Years later they moved to their family home in Providence Forge where he spent the remainder of his youth. He attended New Kent High School and was a star pitcher.
Stephen worked as a carpenter for most of his career and over the last 10 years also became a wedding photographer alongside his wife, capturing many beautiful moments and touching so many lives.
In 2003, Stephen and Jessica Roman welcomed a baby boy, Daniel Blake Clingan. “Blake” was Stephen’s pride and joy and not a day went by that he didn’t worry about his first born, even after he was all grown up.
In 2008, Stephen met the love of his life, Julie. They fell in love quickly and a year later found out their first daughter Lily was on the way. They moved to MD and married on December 12. In 2019, they found out they were to be blessed again with another beautiful little girl named Abby. At the time of Stephen’s passing, they had just learned their 3rd child was on the way. Julie is currently 10 weeks pregnant with this miracle.
Stephen is survived by his wife, Julie Clingan, his children, Blake, Lily, Abby and his unborn child. He is also survived by his father, Dane Clingan. He is preceded in death by his mother, Jacqueline Clingan.
The family will be welcoming visitors on Sunday morning, September 10, 2023, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Vincent’s Funeral Home in Providence Forge, VA. All are welcome.
Stephen’s father, Dane, would like to welcome anyone who loved Stephen to join us for a time of fellowship and remembrance at his home, 9308 Eastview Lane, Providence Forge, VA 23140, immediately following the service on Sunday.
