Shirley Zachary Files, 77, of Williamsburg, VA, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2023. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ausbun and Anna Zachary.
She attended Lincoln Memorial University where she received her BA Degree in business education as a teacher. Shirley also met her husband, Bill, while attending college. She loved music, enjoyed playing the piano, spending time gardening and cooking.
Survivors include her husband, William Files and her cousin, Gary Wright.
A service will be held Monday, May 15, 2023 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Williamsburg, Memorial Park.
