Terri Louise Smith, 61, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023. Born in New Mexico, Terri spent most of her life on the peninsula.
She graduated from Tabb High School in 1980. She spent almost 10 years in Myrtle Beach, SC with her husband, Tim, and their 2 dachshunds, Manly and Macey. Terri retired from the supermarket business and moved back to Yorktown almost 2 years ago to be with her family after her husband’s passing.
Terri enjoyed being in and near the water and beach. She loved listening to Alan Jackson and watching the Yankees play. Terri loved being with her friends, but most of all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Terri is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Timothy Smith, and their dachshunds, Manly and Macey. She is survived by her only daughter, Amber Fox and her husband James; a son Zackery Smith and his wife Renee; her father John Dunn and stepmother Sharon; her mother Sandra Dunn; her sisters Tammi Dunn and Toni Bratton; niece Darian Bratton; her 5 beloved grandchildren, Bailey, Caleb, Braylee, Carter, and Wesley; close friend Sheila Bannister, as well as many other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM on Friday, May 5, 2023 in Amory Funeral Home Chapel.
