Frank William Bacskay, Jr., 73, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2023, at home in Williamsburg, VA. Frank was the loving husband of Nathalie Bacskay. They were married for 36 years. Frank was also the father of Stefan Michael Bacskay.
Frank was an honor graduate of Great Bridge High School in Chesapeake, VA. He attended Virginia Tech, William & Mary and graduated from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA with a degree in Philosophy and Sociology. Frank attended the Williamsburg United Methodist Church. He was a Disc Jockey at WFOG in Suffolk, VA and worked as a Systems Computer Analyst for the U.S. Department of Education in Washington, D.C.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Frances and Frank Bacskay. He is survived by his wife, Nathalie; son, Stefan of Lorton, VA; his brothers, Frederick N. Bacskay of Chesapeake, VA and Stephen E. Bacskay of Norristown, PA; sister, Karen B. May of Chesapeake, VA; in-laws, Carter and Willis Van De Vanter of Poolesville, MD and Blair and Billy Blunt of Springfield, VA; nieces, Carly Van De Vanter of Bethesda, MD and Nathalie Warriner of Buck Hill Falls, PA and his nephew, Wyn Van De Vanter of Washington, D.C.
A Memorial Service will be held at Williamsburg United Methodist Church located at 500 Jamestown Rd. Williamsburg, VA on Saturday, February 4th at 11:00 am.
