Carolyn Rene Williams was called home on December 27, 2022. She was born on April 25,1962, the daughter of the late Winslow and Barbara Christian.
“NeNe,” as she was affectionately called, grew up in Lackey, VA and attended York County Public Schools. At a young age, Carolyn dedicated her life to the Lord at Rising Sun Baptist Church. Carolyn attended Job Corps and shortly after became a CNA for many years and enjoyed taking care of others. Her love and passion were fishing, gardening and most of all her plants and dogs ( Ice, Lagacea, and Queen).
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, with her children, Darnell (Audria), Andre (Kerri), and Miracle; grandchildren, Alexis Gendreau, Andre Jr., Brianna Christian, and Royel Sandiford; siblings, James Christian (Loretta), Michael Christian (Jennifer), Brad Christian (Helen), Lisa Christian, Tracey Jones (Nathaniel); brother in-law, William Jones; special daughters, Chrystal Sterling and Felicia Holloman; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives that she loved and cherished with all of her heart.
Per her wishes there will not be a service or memorial celebration.
