Christopher Wayne Leftwich, Sr., 67, of New Kent, Va. passed away with his family by his side on November 22, 2022.
Chris was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and spending time at the river. If he wasn’t outside, you were almost guaranteed to find him in the kitchen, canning and cooking up a storm. Chris also loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Leftwich; and three brothers, Chuck, Jeffrey, and Jimmy Leftwich.
Chris is survived by his son, Christopher Leftwich, Jr. (Danaire); two grandsons, Noah and Luke; a brother, Bill Leftwich (Eva); a sister, Kay Sluder (Stanley); several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends; and his beloved “granddog”, Lilly.
A funeral service will be held 3:00pm on Friday, December 2, 2022 at Vincent Funeral Home; 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, Va. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
