Kum Sun Dixon. 80, died peacefully at home with family after her long battle with cancer on November 7, 2022.
She arrived in Virginia from South Korea in 1973 to Newport News, Virginia with 2 daughters Yong and Mary .
Knowing very little English , she worked hard to make a better life for her family. She loved gardening, plants, flowers, cooking, crabbing and many other hobbies.
Kum Sun is survived by her Husband Michael Emory Dixon, daughter Yong Dunston and Mary Ann Dixon and grandchildren Mary Nicole Hundley and Bryant Micheal Dixon.
A service will be held at Altmeyer Funeral home Saturday November 12th, 2022 at 5pm.
