Joan Louise Onstead “Joanne” (Weaver), 90, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022.
Joanne is preceded in death by her husband, Sgt Major Bob Dean Onstead; her son-in-law, Douglas Hart and special friend, Randolph Montgomery. She was survived by her daughters, Vickie Downs (Randall), Cindy Onstead-Cavallaro (Richard) and Bobbie Dorety (Chuck); her grandchildren, Jessica Onstead-Cavallaro (Martin Holm Cservenka), Casey Onstead-Cavallaro (Kevin Schwarz), Scott Downs (Joy) and many other friends and family.
Joanne’s hobbies consisted of bowling, crocheting, ceramics, gardening and volunteering at Mennowood Retirement Community.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 28, 2022 at Weymouth Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Joanne will be laid to rest at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA.
