Paul Hudson Heller, 75, passed away Friday, October 7, 2022 after a valiant battle with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, with his devoted wife, Helena, by his side. He was born in Worcester, MA to Robert and Eleanor Heller.
Paul served honorably in the U.S Army and U.S. Navy, retiring as an EWC in January of 1990. Following his military service, he continued his service to the country by working on military ships with the Electronic Boat Co. in Connecticut, and Huntington Ingalls Industries in Newport News, VA. He retired from the shipyard in May of 2016 to enjoy time with his family, including his two special dogs, Lucy and Lucas.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by loving wife, Helena Heller; daughter, Carina Penaflor and husband, Malvin; five grandchildren, Clarice, Camille, Melissa, Abrahm, and Sophia and niece, Rowena Bernandino and husband, Lee.
A Graveside Service with Full Military Honors will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, 5310 Milners Rd., Suffolk, VA 23434. Arrangements by Weymouth Funeral Home.
