Shirley Maxine Ragland, 84 of New Kent, VA was born October 15,1937 and passed away August 31, 2022. She was a member of Providence Methodist Church in Quinton, VA. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Walter R. Ragland and Mary Feagans Barber; sister, Katie Webber; brother, Ronald W. Ragland; and brother-in-law, Walter John Louis, II and 3 nieces and 2 nephews. She is survived by her sisters, Alice Louis of New Kent, and Dorothy King of Mechanicsville; special niece, Mary Ann Calloway (Bo) of Louisa; and nephew, Troy Louis of Henrico; her beloved dog Hannah; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Bon Secours Hospice for their care. A memorial service will be held in October 2022 and burial will be private.
