Anita Christian Glisson, 93, of Petersburg VA, passed away August 24, 2022. Anita graduated in 1947 from Petersburg High School. She was a member of Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church and attended the Lutheran Church of our Redeemer, Petersburg Va. She retired from General Motors, was a member of Colonial Heights Senior Citizens Club and lived her final years at Covenant Wood’s in Mechanicsville VA. The thing she loved the most in life was her family. Anita was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Glisson. She is survived by her son, Wales M. Christian Jr. (Allison), her grandson, Wales M. Christian III (Lauren) and her granddaughter, Laura D. Christian. A private family burial will take place in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg VA. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. Vincent Funeral Home, Providence Forge chapel is handling the arrangements.
