YORKTOWN — Joyce Romona Wainwright, 83, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022. Joyce was predeceased by her husband John Wade Wainwright and her treasured young son, John Wade Wainwright, Jr. and her beloved son-in-law, William J. Jowers, Sr. (husband of Joyce Yvonne).
She is survived by her two daughters, Joyce Yvonne Jowers of Gloucester, VA and Patricia Denise Hewitt of Yorktown, VA. Her grandchildren; William J. Jowers, Jr. (wife, Nicole), Christine D. Starnes (husband, Troy), Julie Y. Jowers (husband, Antonio), David S. W. Latta (wife, Megan) and Jenna D. Jowers (husband, Joshua). Her great-grandchildren; Ford, Darrell, Parker, Destiny, Aubree, Sophie, Zoe, Beckett and Rawlings. She is also survived by many more family members and friends.
A Celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 18, 2022 in Amory Funeral Home with private interment to follow in Parklawn Memorial Park.
