SMITHFIELD — Mindy Todd Long, 41, loving wife and mother, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, Oct. 23, 2020.
Mindy loved spending time relaxing at home with her family and her dogs. She loved watching cartoons and also taught English to kids in China.
She was an assistant principal for Hunter B. Andrews Elementary School, Hampton. Mindy loved her teachers and kids there. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Southern Miss and a Master’s Degree in Education from Old Dominion University.
Mindy is survived by her husband of 11 years, Troy; daughter, Kaley; parents; brother; and numerous family members and close friends.
A celebration of life was held Saturday, Oct. 31.
