WILLIAMSBURG — Angels were dispatched to earth on a mission to grant eternal rest to our beloved Ty’Teonia D. Harris, 25, Tuesday evening, Oct. 6, 2020. Ty’Teonia was born Dec. 18, 1994, daughter of Jonathan Harris Sr. and the late Sherlynn Celeste Brooks of Williamsburg.
A lifelong resident of Williamsburg, Ty’Teonia was educated in Williamsburg-James City County Public Schools and graduated from Lafayette High School. She was employed as a security officer with Allied Services and as a manager at Burger King.
Ty’Teonia was a proud mother, daughter and sister, who loved spending time with her family and friends. She also loved to shop and crochet.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Shirley Brooks.
Her memories will forever be cherished by her children, Gabriel and Caleb Winters; father, Jonathan Harris Sr.; sister, Joniece L. Harris; brothers, Damien Burrell and Jonathan Harris Jr.; maternal grandfather, Carlton Brooks; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Although time will start to heal our pain, we will forever miss you, and you will never be forgotten.
A viewing will be held from 2 to 5 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 15, at Whiting’s Funeral Home.
