NEWPORT NEWS — Julie Dryden Brooks, 52, passed away Friday, Sept. 25, 2020. Julie was a native and lifelong Peninsula resident. She graduated from Poquoson High School.
She was preceded in death by her father, David Freeman Dryden, and is survived by her children, Sara Brooks and Joseph “J.D.” David Brooks, and his wife, Melissa; and grandchild, Aubri Cooke; mother, Mary Lee Dryden; and sister, Belinda Humphrey.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 3, at Amory Funeral Home Chapel.
