HAMPTON — Herbert Allen “Chip” Glazer, 63, entered the Lord’s grace Sunday, June 28, 2020, unexpectedly, at his own home. Chip was born July 10, 1956, in Karlsruhe, Germany.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and “Pawpaw.” Chip will be fondly remembered by his family and friends as a hard-working family man. He worked as a welder by trade for over 35 years. He was an avid football fan, loved good food, playing board games and spending time with his family and friends. We will carry him forever in our hearts and minds.
Chip was preceded in death by his adoptive parents, Arnold Melvin Glazer of Brooklyn, New York, and Maria Theresia Adeline Glazer of Karlsruhe, Germany; and biological father, Siegfried Sauerhammer of Eggenstein, Germany.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years of marriage, Connie Marie Glazer; daughter, Theresa Wright (Mike); son, Allen Glazer (Ellen); brother, Harold “Corky” Arthur Glazer; and three grandchildren, Michael “June” Jr., Hollie and Vivienne.
