
Zenaida D. Palompo, 78, of Virginia Beach, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020.
Born in the Philippines, she was the daughter of the late Bartolome and Soledad Dampitan. She was a member of the Catholic Church of Saint Mark.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Clodualdo “Steve” Palompo; two sons, Ralph Palompo, and his wife, Rose, of Alexandria and Dean Palompo of San Francisco, California; sister, Aurora Lejano of Fremont, California; and two grandchildren, Ryan and Robyn Palompo of Alexandria; along with extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m., Thursday, March 19, and Friday, March 20, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. A wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 21, at the Catholic Church of Saint Mark with the Rev. Father Anthony Mpungu as the celebrant. A committal service will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
