
Stanley Barkas Treleaven, 89, of Williamsburg, went to be with the Lord Sunday, July 7, 2019. Born July 1, 1930, in Seattle, Washington, and raised in Hebburn, England, he was the son of the late Thomas Dingle and Margaret (Barkas) Treleaven.
Survivors include his wife, Ann; daughter, Margaret Bradby; son, Thomas Treleaven; daughter, Michelle Johnson (Steven); grandchildren, Christopher Treleaven (Tracie), Jaime Sheldon and Jessica Bradby; great-grandchildren, Austin, Hayden, Christopher and Olivia Sheldon and Brodie and Sydney Treleaven; and many nieces and nephews from England.
A funeral service, to celebrate his life, will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, July 13, at Faith Baptist Church, 4107 Rochambeau Drive, Williamsburg, with Pastor Alan Garbutt officiating. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. prior to services at the church. He will be interred Monday, July 15, at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk, in a private ceremony.
