Keith Livingston Greene, 60, was born Oct. 2, 1958, to the union of Barbara Washington and the late Roosevelt Greene, of York County, Virginia. He departed this life peacefully Friday, Feb. 22, 2019, at the Hospice House & Support Care of Williamsburg.
Being raised in a Christian home, he gave his life to Christ at an early age and joined New Quarter Baptist Church. Keith graduated from York High School in York County. After graduating from high school, he became an auto mechanic and worked at various dealerships and repair shops throughout his career. Keith moved to Florida to care for his dad when he became ill. He moved back to Virginia after the passing of his dad to care for his mother.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his mother, Barbara Washington; brother, Kelvin Greene (Rhonda); sisters, Karon Greene-Allen (William) and Jacquelyne Neal (Vincent); nephews; special friends, Tammy Gordey (Sweat) and Jamie Reynolds; other loving relatives and friends.
A service celebrating Keith’s life will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 26, at Whiting’s Chapel. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home by 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Mr. Greene may be viewed beginning at 9 a.m. until the hour of his service.
