Charles H. ‘Chuck’ Heeb III, 70, passed away Friday, Nov. 3, 2017, in Virginia Beach. He was born June 13, 1947, in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was a graduate of Cox High School and a Marine reservist.
Chuck worked as a purchasing manager and retired from Empire Machinery. His hobbies included saltwater fishing, boat repair/building and dancing. He was a member of the Virginia Beach Shag Club and the Outer Banks Shag Club.
Chuck was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Carole. He is survived by his daughter; Laura Heeb; granddaughter; Riley Heeb; brother-in-law; Frank D. Smith III; and many friends.
A celebration of life ceremony will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 9, at Smith and Williams on Princess Anne.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Go Rescue Pet Adoption Center, or Virginia Beach Friends School.
